Tilba
A 3 minute drive away, the two villages of Central Tilba and Tilba Tilba are set in the foot hills of Mother Gulaga Mountain, a sacred place for the Yuin Aboriginal people, and provides a tranquil and nostalgic experience for visitors, allowing them to step back in time and explore the beauty of the region. The combination of heritage architecture, local produce, and natural surroundings makes Tilba a unique destination.
Both Central Tilba and Tilba Tilba are recognised for their heritage significance. They are listed on the National Trust register, preserving their historical character.
Mystery Bay
Mystery Bay, just a short 6 minute drive away, is known for its pristine beaches with golden sands, rugged coastline and clear waters. The ancient geological rock formations date back nearly 500 million years ago. The beach is relatively secluded, making it a peaceful spot for visitors.
