This is lovely house in a beautiful location. The thoughtfulness put into the linen and layout of the house make it extra special. Our two dogs loved the large yard and exploring... will be back again

The House is only a few minutes from the Historic Village of Tilba, the House is as described and a fabulous place for relaxation. The communications and directions from Kim were excellent and my family enjoyed our stay

Amazing house in a wonderful location. The photos didn't do the house justice. The hosts, Kim and Dave answered all of our questions in a really quick manner and were very accommodating. As for the area, wow... We loved the beach at Mystery Bay and got to see whales and dolphins from the Haywards beach. The surrounding towns were great. We will 100% be back for another stay.
Michelle, Canberra, Australia - August 2017
This is a beautiful getaway secluded yet close to dog friendly beach, Narooma and Tilba. Very accurately described, linens were lovely, beds comfy and that polished concrete floor very warm underfoot (would love to have that at home)! Definitely worth the extra driving time from Canberra, excellent value for money
Tim, Canberra, Australia - July 2017
A very tidy, removed place to stay, but not so removed that travelling to restaurants and shops was a hassle. Well-placed in terms of proximity to Narooma, Tilba and Bermagui. Nice amenities, fresh bread, milk and jam on arrival, and a scenic getaway. Very enjoyable.
Hadden, Wellington, New Zealand - June 2017
Kim & Dave were great hosts, very good communicators and a lovely new clean house where we spent 4 nights. Very warm and sunny house with space both the lawn, patio and lounge for the four of us to read, eat, drink and relax. Fox Sports came in handy to watch sailing and rugby. Close to the beautiful Mystery Bay and quaint Tilba township. Everything you need you'll find in nearby Narooma, we'd highly recommend the Lighthouse Tour and Seal Dive with Chris/Island Charters Narooma. Thanks for the lovely stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful three nights at this beautiful property and we will definitely be back and stay longer. Nestled into tree lined surroundings was a sun soaked private home with quality fixtures, comfortable beds, polished concrete floors and lovely bathrooms. The fresh bread, bacon and eggs found on arrival were a great surprise. Thanks Dave and Kim.

Peaceful, great location and spacious - Travelling with hubby, two kids and a dog, the place was exactly what we were after in the heart of Tilba Tilba. The house was huge, clean and had all the modern necessities. A few km's away by car was the beautiful beaches, wineries and little villages to walk through and shop for little trinkets and yummy foods. Pretty much located between two bigger towns of Narooma and Bermagui. Kim and Dave were great hosts and were not too far away if we needed anything, but there was nothing to bother them with. On arrival they had baked hot bread and provided butter, jam and milk, which was awesome considering we arrived later in the day so this could tide us over. The property is very environmentally friendly with a big focus on solar power and recycled water and using eco products. Personally for me the water pressure in the shower was a little too soft, however they did provide a vast array of beautiful organic products to compliment this such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner and moisturisers. They even provided eco friendly washing detergents and a washing machine which we used a few times. A beautiful and very comforting home to stay overall.

Pet Friendly/Family Friendly Luxury?!? It exists!
We were charmed from the moment we entered Tilba Coastal Retreat. The property has such a thoughtful aesthetic: it's a really lovely space to be in. Travelling with our eight year old and Pug puppy, we particularly loved how the layout gave enough space for family time, an adventure and a bit of romance and relaxation in the spa wing. Having a spa in rainwater was a beautiful experience... so good for the soul! The location suited us as it was so private but exploring the area only required a short drive. Tilba is a stunning little town full of characters, intense landscapes and good eating. We were only there for the weekend and actually spent the greater part of our stay at the property winding down and having some real time together. Kim and Dave have done an amazing job at making their property comfortable enough to do that. They couldn't have been more accommodating. We were greeted with a welcome hamper of freshly baked bread, Tilba milk and coffee (divine!), a tour of the property and local info. We searched everywhere for a place that could simultaneously accommodate a family holiday, a dog and a romantic getaway... we didn't like our chances! Tilba Coastal Retreat met all these needs and more. Many thanks to Kim and Dave for having us. We'll definitely be back.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Tilba Coastal Retreat! Kim welcomes us at the house and had made us fresh bread and provided local milk, butter and eggs. The house is lovely and well-stocked with books, games and DVDs. It is a lovely retreat, very close to Mystery Bay, Narooma and Bermagui. Thanks Dave and Kim!

Thank you so much Kim and Dave for making our first try at AIRBNB such a magical experience. Kim and Dave were so helpful in every way even down to recommending restaurants and activities in the area. Their home is beautiful, clean, welcoming and environmentally friendly. The setting is superb and the coffee maker, home made fresh bread and free range eggs topped it off. They even go as far as providing complimentary high quality and environmentally friendly complimentary toiletries. We had a blast.

Dave and Kim were ready and waiting for us to arrive, their beautiful house is warm and cosy and they made us feel welcome from start to finish. The photos don't do the house justice, the floor to ceiling windows flood the place with light and it's all environmentally friendly being solar powered so was lovely and warm in the winter. Tilba is a beautiful town, we loved our visit to river cottage as well as bermagui and narooma. I'll definitely remember ukulele night at the local pub! Very friendly locals and overall an amazing, relaxing weekend away. Can't wait to come back!

Our host was very welcoming. Their advice on places to visit, eat and see were spot on and it made our trip more enjoyable. The place was lovely and the neighborhood was quiet and secluded as described.

We felt so lucky to have found this beautiful place. After booking with less than 24 hours notice, my husband and I spent 2 nights here and it was a delight from start to finish. The location is fabulous - easy to get to but surrounded by some of the loveliest countryside I I've seen in a long time. Mystery Bay, a short trip down "Sunnyside Drive" is a great swimming beach. The residence was chic, comfortable, clean and full of light. The kitchen was set up with all the basics and the bathroom was comfortable. I loved the quality bedlinen and the elegant and simple furnishings. Sitting in the courtyard at the front, overlooking the garden and the bush, was a lovely place to breakfast. Dave was an attentive host and welcomed us with a loaf of freshly made bread and an invitation to make ourselves at home. At the same time as being attentive and available our hosts who live nearby, left us in total privacy which we appreciated. It was a short trip along scenic drives to Bermagui for great seafood and a still charming town. We loved everything about our stay and now plan to return here for longer stays. Thanks to Dave and Kim for making this beautiful place available to everyone.

Wonderful, comfortable home with amazing views - We had a fantastic stay for 2 weeks at this property. It was everything we hoped for and more. The beds were comfy and the appliances good quality. The views of the surrounding area were amazing and the location was perfect for those wanting to be away from other holiday makers but still close to Narooma and Bermagui. This home had everything we could possibly need for a long stay and Kim and Dave were the perfect hosts.

Dave & Kim greeted us as we arrived and gave us a thorough briefing on the house, which was just as described. Everything was really clean and comfortable and the fresh bread and jam was a nice treat on top. The house is in a great location close to Tilba (great for Saturday market stroll), a beautiful drive down the back road to Mystery Bay and central to just about every beautiful beach on the south coast. Lots of info in the house on things to do and places to eat. My husband loved Narooma Golf Course and I was up early at least 2 mornings taking photos of the beautiful coastline. My new favourite part of the world and Tilba Coastal Retreat was an excellent base.
